I don't think this came as a surprise to any of us. )

American Idol 7 / Week 12
It's the top four, and it's Rock and Roll Hall of Fame night.

I'm interrupting a great game of Pokemon Snap for this, so it better be good. )

I find myself caring less and less each week. Which is sad.

Onward to the results! )

Neil Diamond week, eh? All right, let's get to it.

Due to a flawed experiment, I'll be brief this week. )

American Idol 7 / Week 10 / Results
Oh noes, this week we're only getting a bottom two instead of a bottom three. Oh well, better odds for all of us, I guess.

Now let's ask Andrew Lloyd Webber some insipid questions. )

American Idol 7 / Week 10
We just got done watching some of the 2004 show Long Way Round. What a fantastic few hours of television that was. And now, I can hit Idol commercial-free!

It's the music of Sir Andrew Lloyd Webber! )

I still haven't watched the "Idol Gives Back" show. It's sitting on the TiVo, crying.

We're down to seven. Will it be a lucky number? )

I haven't watched the Idol Gives Back show yet. But I watched the results.

Unexpected, to be sure. )

Ah, "inspirational songs". And Archuleta already did "Imagine".

It's IDOL GIVES BACK week, isn't it? )

Less than six minutes to view the whole thing. Still room for improvement.

American Idol 7 / Week 7
It's Dolly Parton week. I'll be fast-forwarding a LOT. And I don't expect to have a lot to say. I'll be lucky if I know one or two of the songs -- "9 to 5" is about the limit of my Parton knowledge.

Seacrest's April Fool's joke is just awful. )

American Idol 7 / Week 6
I watched Dancing with the Stars until 9:00 so I could do AI commercial-free. Steve Guttenberg looks like he's having the best time EVER. Why can't they all love doing the show like he does?

It's the top 10, singing songs from the year they were born. )

Oh man, this show is going to be great. Lots of filler, and Kellie Pickler too!

I'm so excited ... and I just can't hide it. )

Wait, what? Last week was "the Lennon/McCartney songbook", and they avoided saying the word "Beatles" at all costs ... and this week's theme is "The Beatles"?

Color me confused from the start. But hey, more good Beatles music. )

American Idol 7 / Week 3 / Girls
It's the girls taking on the 80s! I'll predict "Total Eclipse of the Heart" right now.

Seacrest introduces the judges, and it sounds like he says 'Simon Bowels'. )
