Big Fun!
We went out to Disney's Hollywood Studios today to ride the newest ride, Toy Story Midway Mania. (It's cast preview this weekend; the attraction is open to guests May 31st.)
Some people don't like it, some people do. Me, I found it to be awesome fun. It was similar in style to the Buzz Lightyear Space Ranger Spin ride, but with 3-D glasses. I scored 111,000 points and made what Destructo refers to as my "happy monkey noise" when it was done. All in all, a delightful ride in a park that needs more rides.
We then had lunch at the Sci-Fi Dine-In theater, where you sit and eat in big fake cars in the dark, watching old 50s B-movie trailers on the big screen. The food was good (especially the BLT soup), but our waiter was irritating and inattentive. Which makes my Disney-lovin' heart heave a big sigh.
I napped for too long this afternoon, and now I'm groggy. Hopefully a shower will perk me up.
