Blingo, again
Blog entries are starting to appear on Google search results, discussing the change over at Blingo. So we're certainly not the only ones to get Yahoo! sponsored results instead of the old Google results. And like me, people aren't happy. (What a shocker that if you search Blingo for terms like "blingo switch to yahoo", nothing useful appears.)

So I guess it's time to switch. I'm going to try Winzy; it looks pretty similar, and seems to get good Google results (although the results are a tad bit sluggish to arrive). For the record, this link will make you one of my "friends" over there.

I'm sure it's cheaper or easier or something for Blingo to go with Yahoo! results, but it's sure making their site into a useless steaming pile.

Oh, I totally misread your post. I thought you were talking about not wanting blog entries to show up in search engines, but you were talking about something else altogether. Deleting post....

Ha! I have no problem with public blog entries being logged on search engines.

Search "Jet City Improv" on Winzy.

First sponsored result: www.unexpectedproductions.com

It's because clearly, Unexpected is buying online ads, and they have "Jet City Improv" in as keywords. Clever and devious.

I believe they're using the Ask.com sponsored listing service.
